-Ensure smoke detectors are installed according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
-Test smoke detector batteries monthly.
-Store flammable liquids in their original container.
-Allow ventilation when using flammable liquids to reduce risk of fire injury or illness from vapors.
-Get sprinkler systems professional inspected annually at minimum.
-Be sure that your business has the right type, size, and number of fire extinguishers by calling your nearest fire department to assure you have the protection you need.
